WMD water company safety project
For WMD Waterleidingmaatschappij Drenthe, we carried out a safety project in which existing cage ladders were replaced by fixed stairs. The work was carried out at all outdoor tank storage facilities at eight water treatment locations. The aim of this project was to increase safety and improve accessibility.
Boat launch ramp for Rijkswaterstaat
We have constructed a boat ramp for Rijkswaterstaat that makes it easy to launch boats. The ramp is suitable for traffic loads and intensive use. The design and construction are based on a supplied drawing, with particular attention to sustainability, safety and optimal accessibility under various conditions.
Platform solution Amsterdam Central Station
FlexxCon was commissioned to supply GRP gratings for a temporary platform solution for the renovation of platform 4 at Amsterdam Central Station. This project is the first platform in a series of three renovations, with flexibility, safety and sustainability being key considerations.
GRP platform project
For this project, FlexxCon constructed a fully GRP work platform on the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam. The platform is positioned above an industrial installation and has been specially designed for safe, low-maintenance use in a harsh and corrosive outdoor environment. FlexxCon handled every aspect of this project, from engineering to installation.
GRP Dike steps
For this project, FlexxCon created a durable GRP embankment staircase that allows safe descent and ascent along an embankment. The staircase is designed for intensive use in a demanding outdoor environment, with maximum attention to safety, slip resistance and a long, low-maintenance service life.
Plastic grates and walkways on the railway
A safe and ergonomically sound exit facility has been developed for train drivers on the Dutch railways. The existing situation no longer met current requirements. By opting for a flexible and sustainable solution, comfort for staff has been significantly improved.
Heavy duty plastic grates in Oyster factory
For the new construction of an oyster factory, a sustainable solution has been realised for the watering system that keeps the oysters fresh. In a salty and humid environment, where traditional materials corrode quickly, a GRP construction offers a low-maintenance and future-proof solution.
Mobile platform
For a German customer in the chemical industry, we created a safe, mobile solution for occasional work at height. The focus was on chemical resistance, safety and practical usability.
